Post sequence numbers only at the start of each toolpath

I need to change my post to only post sequence number at the start of each toolpath.

For instance:

N1 (DRILL2)
M09
M01
T12 M06
T6
......

I saw a post a while ago that had only the sequence numbers at each tool change, but can't find it for the life of me.

Although if we are able to get it with the comment at the start of each toolpath would be better.

Many thanks for any thoughts.

Some of the generic posts have the option of "sequenceNumberOnlyOnToolChange" such as the Haas, and I've modified ours to only output on Operations so I would be glad to help with this. Which post processor are you using now? If it is anything but a generic, please attach it here.

That would be fantastic.

Post attached, it is a very slightly modified version of the generic fanuc post. Just an end of program position move.

Many thanks.

Try this post. I also added the sequenceNumberOnlyOnToolChange, but that is overridden by the sequenceNumberOnlyOnOperation option, it won't do both. It's set up so the default is to show the sequence numbers on operation.

As usual, two notes always mentioned:

1) Do NOT put this in the default directory! You probably already know this, but for anyone else finding this for the first time, it will be overwritten during the next update if it is in the default location. Better to put it in Cloud or Personal posts areas.

2) Test with caution!

That is fantastic. I couldn't be more grateful.

Thanks so much for helping me with that.

Thanks for the tip as well about the default post directory, I did unfortunately learn about that the hard way a few months ago.

Again many thanks.

Can sequenceNumberOnlyOnOperation  be added to the Brother Speedio Post? If not can you explain how to customize it so I can do this myself?
