Post processor for RichAuto DSP A11

Anonymous
Not applicable

First time poster and somewhat new to this in general.
Recently got my hands on a chinese router that has a RichAuto dsp a11 unit

And i havent found any post processor for it that seems to work ideally. Or maybe i havent looked in the right places.

But it seems like the powermill guys have it figuered out, and i was wondering if it where possible to convert/port the .pmoptz file to a .cps file for use in Fusion 360?

I figuered, since they are both Autodesk software, it should be somewhat feasible, right?

added is the file that i found on their forum, and here is the forum link.

No, post processor are not interchangeable among other CAM packages. Between HSM and Fusion, yes, but it ends there.

Did you try this post from the HSM Post CAM Library? https://cam.autodesk.com/hsmposts?p=richauto

Also, the search bar at the top of the forum allows you to....wait for it....search! And if you type in RichAuto, and press the return key, you will find several posts from other users looking for that same processor

I have used the FANUC / fanuc post-processor. At firts, it gave me errors with the coolant (last tab in operation), so I had to disable it for it to work.

I am not sure if there is a better way, let say FANUC / w-subprograms since its not mention on the website nor the manual. Since it is not mentioned I asume it not supported.

Other posts for HSM and PowerMill mention Mach3 post-processor, is this the recommended post processor for DSP A11 or other RICO controllers?

This file installs a new post-processor for HSM (installed on PC):

How can I do the same for Fusion360?

I would like to know what you are using: Mach3, rs274 gbr or anyother.

Anyways, while I was browsing the internet I came to see this amazing video for setting up your post-processor:

Thank you and have a great day!

It works with my DSP choosing Mach3Mill under "Selected configuration", then press "Post". Load the file on to your Machine. Run the Program.  Some error messages might pop up which you can click away (or permanently disable in configurations), after that the program should run.
