Post needed for a CMZ TA20Y Machine please

Hi,

Does anyone have a post processor for a CMZ TA20Y machine with Fanuc control, that they are willing to share, please.

Any help would be much appreciated.

We have a number of mill/turn posts that are configured for a Fanuc control, but nothing specific to that machine. You are going to have to find one that is similar in code output and modify it suit your specific needs. I suggest trying the DN Solutions or the Samsung post

I was hoping that some one might have one specific for that machine.

I'll see what response I get and if all else fails Ill try your suggestion.

Any updates on this post for the CMZ machines? There are NO codes that work as suggested (doosan , samsung, ETC ETC) I don,t know why CMZ decided to try and be "cool" and have and modify M and G codes that match NOTHING else on the market.

I ended up pretty much editing the Doosan (it covers Lynx Puma etc with drop down options in the post properties post). Changing Mcodes & Gcodes to suit the TMZ I was working on. Whilst adding the option for the TMZ machine in the drop down so there is no confusion with the other machine post properties.

Anything that was a bit complex, i.e. grab and part off etc I wrote as a pass through from an example of an existing program that was already in the machine.

Seemed to get by with that.
