I'm practicing my Fusion skills with a simple circular pocket with a predrilled hole on center.  I see the options for using a predrilled hole to perform milling such as this but I deselected it because it could not be used.  In the attached screenshot there is another error about the leads causing a collision, which I'm not familiar with how to correct this.

On a more advanced note, is it possible to link together the two bores in one toolpath or will they need to be independent?

Hello,

Thanks for posting. Would you be able to share your model file? It's hard to determine what is causing this issue without seeing exactly what geometry and lead settings you have applied.

You can link the two pockets together in a 2D operation, but perhaps a 3D pocket toolpath with a containment boundary would be a better option here?

Here is the file I am working on.  I've worked with other CAM software's in the past, such as MasterCam, so there is always a learning curve with adapting to a new system.

Hello,

Thanks for sharing the model. I think 3D pocket (or adaptive) would be a better solution here. You could set radial stock to leave as 0.125in, then finish off with 2D contour.

I've attached a copy of your model with some sample tool paths applied so you can see how they were setup.

Hope this helps
