As a hobby guy and owner of the a pocket nc, is there anythihng that we can do about the rotary tool path being locked behind the $1600 ticket price. I do have a yearly subscription and now just get disappointed when i want to use it vs using 2-4 opts to do almost the same thing. Im curious how many people who own one feel the same as me and what could be done to allow this.

If you only want to use the "Rotary" ocasionally then you can purchase the "Machining Extension" for short time periods as and when you need it, purchase can be made using either "Cloud Credits" or with a Debit/Credit Card.

Go to the "Extension" Icon in the top Right of your screen and follow the links for more information.

I originally upgraded from a hobby subscription to a paid one as well as i also used the credit for a day use before but if i dont get everything done in that day or want to go back and modify it later i am unable to because it becomes locked. sadly the craft and gifts i make family dont justify the continuous use of it.

As I understand it if you want to change anything in the Manufacturing at a later time/date then you would need to purchase it again for a short time, that should upgrade your Licence again so you can work on the project again 😞

It is usually best to have lots of Coffee ready and no distractions in a sealed bunker for the 24 hours to get best results 🙂 🙂 🙂

usually best and pratical dont seem to mesh on this and it would be nice it they would extend our capabilities thru the software. almost the literally on of the things that makes having a PNC nice is 5 axis and what sucks is tha tthe software had it and they removed it. firs tthere downgraded the free version which i understand but just removing that was a real buzz kill.
