Pocket and Parallel finishing problem

I have a simple shape I want to 2D pocket, 3D adaptive clear and parallel finish, but I am running into a few probems. I imported my model in from Rhino. My 2D pocket selection seems to be larger than the area I want to pocket. How can I fix this? And the parallel finishing is producing weird results. Any ideas? I tried tinkering with almost every setting but could not get the paths to normalize.

The file is attached.

Pocket selection clearly exceeds the top surface.

Weird paths at bottom and right. My stock material is going to be clamped on all four sides and I am trying to keep the parallel finish paths within the silhouette of my stock.

I've made a few changes that you should notice pretty quickly:

1) 2D Pocket - Select the boundaries and not the face for your geometry. Make sure the arrow is on the correct side.

2) Parallel - In your Geometry tab, turn off "Contact Point Boundary" and change the Transions to "Straight Line". I hate the linking moves, honestly, and the offset never gives what you'd expect it to.

File attached.
