Optimzie Drill Cycle

Good day.

In the attached part, I would like to optimize the drilling cycle. The way I have it set up now, It drills one side of the tube, orients the C-Axis and drills the other side. How can I program this so it rapids thru the first hole drilled and drills the other side? Screenshot and part attached.

I haven’t looked at your file (as on phone) but I don’t think it’s possible. You could have a semi workaround by duplicating the operation and changing the heights so the first op drills the first hole and second operation the other side and that way it would rapid between but there would be a retract in the middle.

I present 2 solutions in attached file.  Solution 1 is easy to understand.

Solution 2 is faster on the machine, but needs more work in Fusion (sketch, create drill as a chamfermill).  Lead-in/out feed should be set to your machine's highest feed.  Step thru the simulation looking at the information tab for the feeds, you'll get what is happening.

Thanks for your replies.

@DarthBane55  I tried this and it works great! Always a work around with Fusion, just gotta figure it out.
