Yep, intended. That's to take advantage of the new Accessibility Analysis in toolpaths that utilize Tool Orientation. If no orientation is selected, the Analysis folder goes away. I "think" there are plans to smooth out this presentation, but I may be mistaken

Thanks. So I'm looking at a facing operation I made that doesn't have tool orientation specified but an analysis folder is created.

You're saying it's by design that Fusion creates an analysis folder despite no items populating that folder?

 

The current functionality makes it a bit harder when comparing toolpaths.

Yes, by design. I do agree that makes it annoying when cycling through toolpaths to check settings.

How is Fusion on Ventura? I have an M1 too. Visual  Studio Code supports the M1 now, but it's not download by Fusion yet. So, I had to hit the website and download the proper version.
