My shop uses a Proto Trak PMX milling machine and up until today I could find my machine on the machine library tab. But it looks like you guys updates the software for the post processor and now I can no longer find the proto trak machines!?!? I dont know why you changed this but I can no longer post to my machine and its holding up my manufactor. is there a way for me to import the old machine list to my fusion 360?

Post library for Fusion 360
https://cam.autodesk.com/hsmposts
You can add cps file into cloud: navigate Assets > CAMPosts
This will preserve exact post for future use.

When posting NC program pick cloud posts in drop down field at the top of dialogue window.

Best of luck

I think the ProtoTrak post are listed under Southwestern Industries now.

Effectively, if we look online we can find them under the Southwestern Industries.

I have found the southwestern industries post that will work for our Prototrak PMX mill, but what machine in the machine library most closely resembles this machine?

Which machine do you have, as the PMX is the controller, not the machine (unless I'm misunderstanding what I'm seeing on their website). If it's just a 3 axis machine, you don't "really" need a machine configuration, so you can just proceed without one if you prefer to go that route

Your are correct, the PMX is the controller. It is the LPM machine with 4th axis capability, and I would like to find a suitable machine configuration to load, if possible.

As you've found, we don't have any Proto machines in the library. So, you have a couple options;

1) Reach out to your Proto distributor and request a model for the purposes of machine simulation. This may or may not be possible, as most machine manufacturers protect those files quite heavily.

2) Find a comparable machine and use that. Of course, there will likely be some differences, so it's a risk. Your machine is a 30" x 18", and a Haas VF-2 is a 30" x 16", it may be "close enough"
