I am able to make a cut file and simulate for the project, but when I open the post processor tab it shows no data. there are no machines available. no library, no post and no options. I am using a hobby account and attempting to use a 3018 machine for the first time.

Hi @ledhobby

Is your F360 up to date?

Have you tried restarting F360 and then logging back in?

Alternatively, you could try to follow those links to see if it helps:

  1. How to install a cloud tool library in Fusion 360
  2. Local tool library is missing from Fusion 360 after a factory reset

It is weird that the posts library is empty, there should always be some posts installed with Fusion. One possible workaround: Preferences -> Preview -> enable the "automatically get lasted" feature.

Just remember that you did this. In some cases you may want this feature to be off.

Ok automatically get lasted was checked already. I un checked it and then my machine list appeared. Now when I go to post process I get a list but it doesn't look like what I'm seeing come up on YouTube videos. I have a genmitsu 3018 prover. Can you recommend how I would go about choosing a post that will work with my machine?

I am not seeing this screen. I only see a screen asking to choose a post

You are seeing a new UI for basically the same thing. In that old dialog the first fields at the top are dealing with the same thing, choosing a post from one of the locations where posts are installed/saved.

You should be able to find newer tutorial on YouTube to show you how to work with NC Programs. Or in Fusion's documentation.
