Newbie troubles with Arrange for plywood router

I  having trouble arranging my parts - there are about 50 parts to arrange, but I cant get started.

My first placement is not orientating bodies to be flat.

Does every part need to be  a seperate component?  I have bodies in my components but I'm only seeing how to arrange the whole component.

The videos Ive found only cover very basic process -  I was hoping to layout the entire model automagically.

Would you be able to share your Fusion file here?
File > Export > Save to local folder, return to thread and attach the .f3d/.f3z file in your reply.

Yes, each body needs to be its own component for Arrange to work.

Thanks for your answer - okay I converted all 83 bodies and it works now - but crashed after 70 parts ( see new thread on that )
Sorry I cant share the file here, but I could send it to you if interested.  You'll probably find modelling bad methods and blame that for the lockups but I try my best.  We cant all be pros eh?

Yeah, I don't consider myself a pro on the modeling side either, so I'm not going to be throwing any stones 😉

If you want to email me the file, happy to take a look at it:

Please reference this thread so I understand the context of the email!

Okay thanks - maybe you can try the auto arrange across multiple envelopes.   Exporting now for you

I've been keeping an eye on my email Inbox, but I've not yet seen anything from you. Have you exported and emailed your Fusion file?

Don't bother, it looks like we've got an issue in our email servers (internal issue). Could you just right click on the file in the Data Panel and select "Share Link", and email me or DM me that link?

I think I just saw an email come in from you, but when I went to retrieve it, nothing was to be found. This is frustrating, I'm sorry...

Hover over my name and select "Send Private Message" and send me the link.
