New to CNC, need help

Hello all,

I've been using Fusion for a while now, though I'm far from being proficient with it. I'm starting to get into manufacturing a panel for a flight simulator cockpit using a CNC. I've watched many videos, read many threads, but I still can't seem to get Fusion to do what I would like it to. It's obviously user error, and with the countless settings available... I'm lost.
I have been able to get the basic shape to show in the simulation that it would be cut out, but it skips the holes even though I had selected them. If there's someone here that can take a look at my part, set it up in the manufacture area and send it back, I can take a look at it and hopefully learn what I've been doing wrong.
The CNC I'll be testing it on is a Creality CP-01 with a standard 3mm bit. If that helps.
Thanks!

There are no toolpaths in this file. Do you have one with toolpaths?

Hi,
I had tried, but I've deleted it about 30 times trying to figure it out...
so this is only the design.

This something like you need?

Panel Base.jpg

Rough example file attached, done with simple 2D toolpaths, plenty of other options available for you to experiment with after you have replicated these toolpaths in your own file, or just clean this one up on feeds/speeds/depths of cut etc, etc.

That looks great, thank you. I'll use it as a way to learn more.

How do you post process a file that the Creality CP-01 understands for CNC?  I don't see G-Code for CNC which I believe CP-01 needs and I do see Creality library settings for 3d printing however nothing for CNC.  I read that NC code is similar to G-Code?  Do those NC files get created and renamed to G-code for CP-01 to understand or how is a file created for CP-01 to use?
