Nesting extension - what have I done wrong?

I am designing a bookshelf with fusion 360. I thought I created the parameters and everything correctly to allow me to create a nest, but nothing is working.

I am watching the videos about using the nesting extension (which I have paid for), and there are many things they are showing in the video that don't show up for me. 

for example. nearly all my parts keep saying they're made of steel, but I thought I have changed them all to wood. when I am in the component sources screen my components have no length, width, or any information about them at all. when I am in the generate nest study screen, I am missing a component altogether, even though I didn't ignore any components. even though I am sure I created a material package, it doesn't show up in my packaging list when I am in the nest study screen.

I may need someone to walk me through this entire process, because I am sure I have done something wrong, and it's probably stupid, but I don't know what it is.

File > Export > Save to local folder, return to thread and attach the .f3d/.f3z file in your reply
