NC-Program gets post-edited

Hello everyone, I'm relatively new to manufacturing. My problem is, that whenever I define a point of origin where (x|y|z) is supposed to be (0|0|0), as can be seen in the first picture, Fusion tells me after post processing (second picture), that my "work offset has not been specified" and promptly respecifies it. As a result, the CAM software places the work offset weirdly (third picture). This becomes a real problem when multiple toolpaths (e.g. engraving) are required, as they do not have the same absolute work offset.

If anyone of you have an idea what I might be missing/doing wrong, please do let me know.
Thanks in advance,

Jona

Fusion doesn't "re-specify" your WCS, its just saying that in the SETUP-POST PROCESS tab you have your WCS number set to 0 instead of 1

This sounds more like an issue with your workflow on your machine, not knowing what machine/controller you have I cant really point to the issue, but it isn't Fusion

Basically you need to be Setting the WCS on your machine as G54.

Hi @jona.kreutz, If you do find that using 1 as your Machine WCS works for you, it can be set to always default to 1. Simply right click in the text field and select "Save as User Default" and now you don't need to change it unless you work on a different machine.

Thanks for responding, I must have forgotten about this post.
Setting the WCS number to 1 didn't resolve the issue. However, all I needed to do was to set a checkmark in the right place within the NC-program....

Thanks again,

Jona
