My Model is not connected

I received a model of a part to machine, I was setting up a tool path when it gave me this error message ...

Error: Turning profile is split into two or more closed parts. You can avoid this error by modifying your model to ensure all parts of the profile are connected., I received two models from this customer one worked fine this one did not, my question is how do I connect the parts in this model so I can machine it ..... Thank you ,George 🙂

Can you please upload the non working model, it does sound as though the sender didn`t join the parts together, have you tried using the "Combine" function in the Design mode ??

 

To upload got to :_

File > Export > Select f3d format > Save to a location on your computer > Then use the "Attachments" facility below the box where you type a reply

It sounds like you need to turn on "Spun Profile" in the Setup:
