Mori Seiki Turn/Mill, Side milling on Lathe using a radial live tool

I am attempting to use a Radial live tool in my Y-axis enabled lathe to side mill a feature on a custom tool holder. In the image shown I tried using a 2D contour toolpath. It did what I want in a way but it is milling on the opposite side of the feature I selected. how do I get it to cut from the other side? I have tried different entry positions as well as changing the cutting direction but it still is not correct.

That's one of those tricky contours that Fusion doesn't like.

What you need to do is go into Design and create a sketch on the XZ plane

then use Project with the selection filter set to bodies to project the Silhouette of the part onto the sketch.

Now you can use this sketch edge to drive you 2D contour, set the Bottom height in the heights tab to "Model bottom" to drive the toolpath to the bottom of the part.
