More bugs and problems with lathe tools that used to work

Working on series of small intricate parts where accurate tool geometry makes big difference. I am gradually accepting new tool library but I find problems that just don't make sense.

In screenshots below, I am boring a hole after drill, using rest machining, it all goes well until tool reaches drill diameter, at which point back edge of insert crashes into stock even though cutting edge is clearing while taking  last pass in removing stock left by tip of drill.

I tried to adjust radial relief angle and insert thickness but nothing changes, insert remains the same, .... brick.

I know for a fact that in past revisions, I was able to set insert thickness to .01 which effectively avoided this problem.

It is not possible to define solid carbide miniature tools so combination of insert and holder needs to be adaptable to functional profiles and dimensions.

Bugs in threading, grooving and boring make simulation useless.
