Model box point selection

When model box point coincides with model origin even if model origin is turned off sometimes it's harder to select. You need to zoom in to make the selection, maybe it can be improved.

Thanks for raising your query onto Autodesk Forum.

If I am understanding correctly; in Job setup you wish to set the WCS at model origin. Can't this be easily done by selecting option 'Model origin' in origin field as shown in the video:

This is simply an observation, in general I never use model origin as the WorkCS, but at times it happens that who ever designs the parts will have the model origin coincide with the Word Coordinate system( lets say top left corner) and then it's hard to select the model box point.

I always stick to Model box point or Stock box point simply because I could not rely on the position of the model in relation to the World coordinate system.

You can also hide the model origin, to avoid picking it instead of the model box point.
