mill trough by sketchlines

I want to mill some easy icons all the way throughout a piece of wood (18mm thick).
The artwork are simple lines (made in Illustrator), which centers can be routed using a 3 or 4mm bit.
I thought this could be done easily, by selecting the artwork (dxf from Illustrator) and using Slot, but somehow I do something wrong.

First. There seems to be some breaks in the profiles you might want to fix.

I'd use 2d profile for this with compensation Off. With 2d profile you can ramp down or plunge, ramp is probably best but depends on material and your machine. See attached file. You might need to update Fusion to open the file as I got a warning your file was an old format.

Just in case you can't open the file these are the settings to look at.

Thanks a lot!
I've opened your file, and that seems to work. I need to teach myself a bit regarding this 2D contour technique, 'cause I still don't understand how you managed it.
Tonight I try it on my CNC-machine itself.

I guess I'm stupid, but I'm trying for a while to have the center of a path milled, like your example. But somehow I only manage to have the bit mill on the left side, or the right side. I'm sure I'm missing something very easy, but I'm looking for more than half an hour....

Wait, did I just fix it, by once again carefully checking your setup, and changing "compensation type" to "off" (like your image mentioned as well 🙄). That just doesn't make sense to me, I'd expect this option during the selection parameters...
