Measuring toolpath

It would be nice if you could measure toolpath length or from a face to a point in the toolpath.

So you would know how far your tool from the face is.

Right click on a toolpath > Show Toolpath Data

Please click "Accept Solution" if what I wrote solved your issue!

Thanks for that hint, but with this you can't measure from a face or a point to the toolpath

- You can do your simulation

- activate toolpath operation

Now go with your mouse to the point you want know where it is

Activate information tab and view at the Position:

But what I want is a measurement from the component-face or -point to a toolpathpoint.

Ok look at this:

In simulation:

go with your mouse oder the region where you want know how much stock is there 😉

You enter the distance between your tool and your workpiece in your CAM operation and this is then adhered to!
In addition, measuring would usually not help you much anyway, as the tool center point paths are displayed and not the corrected paths!

This is something that PowerMILL has so I'm sure it will make its way to Fusion in the future.

Don't really understand what it does.
Can you click on a face or point and then on the toolpath, to get the distance between?

Since alternative ways of determining distances from the manufactured blank to the finished part are not sufficient for you.
This is the simple answer to your question - it is not possible!

My personel opinion ...

And quite honestly, it's also unnecessary if you know how to work with CAD-CAM. Sorry!
