Manufacturing model not reflecting Design structure

Shouldn't the manufacturing model (MM) reflect the Design content, as it exists at the time the MM is created?

Here's what I get:

Why is Body1 not under Component7 also in the MM side?

Now I made an edit on Design side and puff, I get more stuff under the Manufacturing Model.

Now I need to hide a body ... 🙂
