Manufacture Workspace - Operatoions always dirty after coming back from design.

I have a project with multiple components. I have multiple setups configured in the manufacturing workspace.

When I need to make a change to one component, I go into design and modify what I need, then go back into Manufacture workspace.

What I am seeing is, even though I do not touch anything on other components, and the component I am changing is not being referenced by anything, when I get back into manufacture workspace, I need to regenerate all setups and all operations.

Is this normal behavior or is it a bug?

It seems if what you have already created tool paths for never changes, leaving the manufacture workspace and returning should have no effect on these operations. Its trivial when regenerating them only takes a few seconds, but I have some tool paths that take like 5-10 minutes to compute.

This is normal expected behavior. All the CAM know's is that SOMETHING changed, and it renders the toolpaths "dirty".

In the case where you have quite a bit of time in regeneration, I suggest right clicking on your toolpath(s) and select "Protect"

You can also right click on the Setup itself and protect EVERYTHING in it
