Machining time

Can someone please explain me - is it me or bug?

as i created few cam operations,  operation machining time doesn't match with whole setup machining time.

Truthfully, it's never been extremely accurate. Kind of considerate as a "general idea". Things such as rapid speed and tool change time are not factored into some of the calculations. I think with the further development of Machine Configs, it will end up becoming more accurate over time.

If you right click on a setup, you can tailor the time based on your machine and practices. I find with my older mill if I enter 63% that works out about right. With that being said... the time adjustment appears to only be reflected in the aggregate time total in the last tab of the Simulation dialog. The time adjustment is not reflected in the setup operations menu. Seth is correct, this can tightened  up sometime in the future.

Thanks for answer, but i can't understand why tool path times and complete setup machining time is different?

for example 2d contour must be 15min 36sec 

but complete setup machining time with drill operations is 6min 46sec.

Actually some time ago  i was very satisfied when machining time was quite close to my real machining time.

But now i cant understand this calculation formula..

Are you able to share a model, with some pointers to what you're seeing vs. what you expect -- and/or differences between how the machining time is reported in one area vs. another?

yes, i can share model (how do i do that?) , as i said

This tip is perfect, I feel your suggested 63% will be close for me too! I see this updates all other setups so this is great. Curious to see if other projects will be updated, I could see why not, as they might be different machines....
