Machine library - Machines always out of date

So everytime I select a machine in a setup its out of date and i have to update it, even though i'm selecting the machine from the Cloud section of the library.

I'm sure im doing something wrong somewhere but not sure haha.

Its like the machine Config and machine model are out of sync or something

I have the same problem with the Mazak I-600 i got from the fusion library that I added a Lang base plate to the machine table.

Any help would be great!

Hi @a.laasW8M6T

Thank you for posting your query in Autodesk Community.

The Fusion 360 library section of the machine and the posts get updated to the latest version automatically, once the update is available. If you don’t want to update the machines you can turn off the option under the preference tab as shown in the image.

Or try selecting the machine from the Default Fusion 360 library.

Pramod

Hi Pramod,

I'm aware of that feature of Fusion, however this relates to a machine I have created myself from scratch(Machine config and 3D model), and have saved in my cloud Library.

The example of the Mazak I-600 is also in my cloud Library and not linked to the Fusion Library so should never get "Automatically" updated.

The Machine 3d models are stored in a Project in our work Fusion Team storage.

I suppose I am wondering why the "Machine" in My cloud library isn't the latest version, and where the latest one actually is?

Cheers

Andrew

Hi @a.laasW8M6T

Thanks for the reply.

I thought you were using the Fusion 360 library default files. Could you try the below steps and check,

  1. Try to export the machine file (. f3d) to a new location (new project/a folder)  from cloud storage.
  2. Import the machine model again and redefine the machine kinematics.
  3. Finally, add the newly imported machine to the cam setup.

Regards,

Pramod
