Machine Library - Edit machine duplicate loop

I've been working on tweaking a post processor to use our old TM-2 as a lathe for small parts and I've run into an issue in the Manage Machine Library module. I created a copy of the existing TM-2 machine in my local library and changed a few identifiers and machine definitions, as well as assigned my Lathe post-processer to the machine. The problem is the module will accept the edits but can't differentiate between the two machines. When I go to edit one, it says the machine is out of date, and when I select "Update and Edit" it co-opts all the settings/names/post/kinematics from the second machine definition. If I edit the "Mill" machine the "Lathe" becomes out of date, and vice versa. Does anyone know how I can keep two of the same machine in the library with different definitions? If I had two separate TM-2s with different options, say a trunion/b axis or higher RPM spindle, I would want to be able to differentiate between them when assigning a machine to a setup, so I figure maybe I'm not the first/only person with this issue.

Thanks in advance.
