looking to pay someone to modify my post processors

I have posted in here a couple times about wanting to make a change to my programs. I think it is a somewhat complicated request as I have not gotten much support (people were very helpful , just no solutions unfortunately) the way my programs are laid out is the sequence number always corresponds with the tool number. and I only have "N" numbers at tool changes. for example if the machinist wants to run tool 2 they just search N2. not a big deal.... but what we have come across quite a bit is a lot of times our programs call up the same tool multiple times in a program, I would like to just add different sequence number in those cases... for example if the machinist wants to find the third time T2 runs he would search N203 or the second time T10 runs he would search  N1002... again, not a big deal but it would mainly just be a benefit for our machinists when they are doing a set up and a couple of them have requested that I add this ...

is there somewhere in the community I can find an expert at editing the post processor to add this? we would be willing to pay for this as well

Thanks

Jeff

Hi

You can find a list of providers here:

https://www.autodesk.com/support/partners?solutions=Fusion%20360&services=Post%20Processor

you can filter by region to narrow down someone in your area to work with

I am self taught and by no means consider myself an expert however, I have done fairly extensive post editing for our shop and would be happy help you out.  I spent most of my time on a post for our Turn/Mill with y-axis and a sub spindle but also worked on some milling posts. Feel free to reach out to me directly if you ever have more post editing needs.

@da_fish thanks for the reply! so the first machine post I am trying to edit this on is an Okuma mill. I went through the steps that you provided in the link to the other users question and for some reason it isn't working on my post. I think its because my post is already modified for the N number to correspond with the tool number but not set up to increment for other instances of the same tool.  Also I am terrible at this post processing editing stuff... so from my perspective i would definitely say you are an expert! haha I have the post attached. any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated

Thanks,

actually I just figured it out somehow. based on what you said in that link you had me click. thank you so much! the only other thing that would be nice is if they weren't followed by an 01 the first time the tools were called up. but we can get used to it! for example:

N1T1

N2T2

N102T1

instead of:

N101T1

N201T2

N102T1
