Lathe Program Post Error. . .

Hello,

I am fairly new to Fusion and am trying to program this simple part. I think I have all my Ts crossed and Is dotted, but when I go to post, it gives me an error. It seems to be in my rough turning pass, but I can't figure out what is wrong. I tried selecting the spun profile option under the preferences section after seeing a couple other forum posts about it - but that didn't fix it. I have attached the fusion file.

Anyone know of a fix I can try? Or something I am doing wrong? Thanks

Can you tell me which post processor you would like to use, there are quite a few.

I am trying to use a Fanuc post processor - language C.

I see the FANUC post configuration but I do not see a "C" language one.  With the FANUC Turning configuration, there is no error is posting.  Can you tell me where I can find the post configuration you specified?

Well, I tried clicking "post process" and posting it that way, as you showed in your screenshot - and it worked! Before, I had been right clicking "setup1" and selecting "create nc program" and posting that way. In the "create nc program" window, there is an option for "type a/b/c" for Fanuc. It shows up on the right hand side of the window. My lathe runs the type C (or language as I called it at first).

I see what you mean doing it your way.  I guess I do not understand the reason the different methods succeed and fail.  One thing that took me by surprise when I first opened the file was how tiny this part is.  I will look at it a bit longer, hope you come up with a reason for the differences in posting, if I find out I will let you know.

Well that's certainly not supposed to happen. I'll get a report going on this..

Can you try to download the latest Fanuc Turning post from https://cam.autodesk.com/hsmposts, and use that? I was able to successfully post an NC program using it.
