Lathe Problem with Tangential extensions

I noticed after the last update a problem with Tangential extensions for lathe.  Since its a customer file I can not post it.  But see pictures.

With out extensions on

With extensions on at .05 distance.

The back extension is fine.  But the front extension is facing away from the chamfer. 

If I use a larger number .1

Is there a workaround workaround? I know that a problem existed with the extension for the back.  Support had a work around for the back.  But it's not working for the problem with the front extension.

Tested with off the wall model, playing with tangential extension and angle for lead in, I get all sorts of outcomes, including facing off stock instead of approaching cut from given distance and angle of chamfer.

Changing tangential values for lead out doesn't seem to make any difference or I didn't strike the nerve with few attempts.

I noticed the results got weirder the longer the tangential extension was.  I didn't play with lead in or lead out.  

I'll send to support see what they have to say.
