kernal error with turning canned cycle and stock allowances

Hi I have a problem with turning. When trying to use vertical pass i get a "Internal CAM kernel error" when canned cycles are turned on. Any idea why or who or where do i ask about this problem?

The second problem is an error withe X and Z allowances. for what ever reason if you set these different the there is an message saying that it is not supported. this to me makes no sense. canned cycles are able to support different material allowances!

also I am not able to up load a fusion file on here any more??

Any help would be great.

Not sure why you can't load a fusion file here, many people are doing it, in fact I was going to ask you to attach the sample file for your cam kernel issue.

We have already implemented variable X and Z finish allowances for canned cycles and this feature will be released in an upcoming update.

OK thanks so the issue with vertical canned cycle and the X and Z allowance should be fixed for the next update? also it would be nice if canned cycles would work for the turn facing operation.

Corporate policy disallows me from telling you exactly when these fixes will be released so unfortunately all i can tell you is they will both be released in an "upcoming" update.

Thank you very much for finally implementing this!

It has been promised us while buying HSMworks > 5 years ago.

It is really usefull. Better late than never.

I tested in HSMworks latest 2020sp2 but I could not find turning canned cycles.

When will this be implemented in Solidworks?

Unfortunately there is no plan currently to add the new turn profiling strategies to HSMWorks.

Very dissapointing. We bought HSMworks because of Solidworks.

I guess we should stop with Autodesk as it makes no sense anymore.

Also I tested a very simple part and it crashed into the material when

using correction in machine. I sent it to my VAR.

I try that same part in Fusion if it won't crash there.

Never have these problems with the most complex parts in Solidcam.
