Looking for the most recent Fusion Post Processors along with a variety of new impressive Manufacturing Assets? Look no further!

We are dedicated to consistently providing updates and improvements to our diverse range of open-source tools: Post Processors and various Manufacturing Assets, all of which are available for free. These updates can sometimes be overshadowed by other enhancements or major feature releases. This post aims to update you on all the newly added or improved assets.

This post will get refreshed with notable updates as they’re released, and you can click each hyperlink to go to the mentioned post. As always, you can find the latest in our post processor offering on the Online Post Library where you can search by vendor, type, or name, and see any recent changes to each post processor.

1. Improved Post Processors

We are always working to keep post processors up to date with new technologies. This is a summary of the main improvements made to post processors already in the library.

Generic Post Processors

-The generic postprocessors have been modified to improve output for tool length compensation and TCP commands.

-Added new 'order' key to the 'SequenceNumber' properties in several post processors.

-'Use Subroutines' property is temporarily disabled during the simulation process in several milling post processors.

-Fixed simulation between setups with different WCS in generic post processors.

-Back boring cycle has been fixed in several milling post processors.

-Unwind codes are now correctly output whenever a cyclic table axis is present in several generic post processors.

 2. New Machines

Machine Library

The Machine Library lets you manage your machine tools by using Machine Configurations to define your available machines and resources. These configurations can automate the settings in your Job Setup.

There are many Machine Configurations available in the standard library.

Milling Machines

You will have available configuration files for some of the leading machine manufacturers:

The easiest way to get started, is to copy an existing configuration that matches some of the characteristics of your machine.

4. Tools and Tool Holders

The Tool Library lets you manage tools for Milling, Turning, Cutting (waterjet, laser & plasma), Touch Probes and Holders. The Tool Library lets you manage libraries of predefined tools and project documents.

Some fixes have been made to Fraiser Boss Beaver, Fraiser Carbider Poly, Haas Holders, Haas Tooling, and Haimer Holders. These modifications address minor issues and enhance overall library performance to better support user needs.

5. Post Processor Engine

Our development team is always working to update and fix the Autodesk CAM Post Processor engine. These modifications are not related to a specific postprocessor (as described above) but affect the entire library or at least the post processors using that specific class. The current post processor kernel is 5.370.5.

You can find here all the information regarding the Autodesk CAM Post Processor engine.

6. Post Processor Ideas

To make our library more varied and complete, we are always working on new post processors. Some of them still need more testing before being released in the public library. Every new Beta post processor is announced in the Idea Station, you can find all of them in the Post Processor Idea Station.

Please note that if you choose to use one of these post processors, you assume all inherent risk in using it and we ask that you proceed with caution.

That being said, we are looking forward to get your feedback!
