Is there a way to get to bounding box in the properties without 3 or 4 clicks? A shortcut? Or even just having the box stay open after the initial click? Same thing with other things in the properties area.

I get fixture designs from customers each having as many as 60 components to manufacture. Ideally I would be able to select the component, right click, select properties and the bounding box info would appear. It would also stay open and update as I selected the next component.

Is this possible to do?

Create a Setup, with the Stock set to "Relative Size". As you had components to the Setup, the dimensions will update. Does that get you what you're looking for?

You can also do the same thing in the design workspace without needing to create a setup. In the Design Workspace, from the Select Panel choose Selection Tools and then Select by Boundary. When you click on the solid, it will give you the bounding box size of the solid. selectboundary.png
