Hi everybody,

may be I can borrow some of your brains 🙂

I found out, that Manufacturing can read csv-files and do "something with it". But what exactly is that?

If I have a design which uses parameters, can I do something like that:

For each row of csv-data:

read the parameters

wait til the design has updated to the newly read parameters

export design as stl/3mf/step

back ground:

I do an open source project: osvacneo.de

It is much like pipe fittings:

There are a few basic parts, like bows and "T"s and you need them in lots of different sizes. So, I am looking for a way to generate them.

Manufacture can read in CSV files, but it's for the tool library and cutting data. I don't think you're going to find a design solution in this side of the software.

Thanks a lot for your reply. I spent 2 hours digging into "Manufacturing" and not getting a clear idea, what and how it can do. But before I really start coding a Python add-in, I thought, I should ask.
