I'm making a craft project;

when I was machining the object on the finishing pass, it became apparent that the milling head had lost z-vertical and the 'SW-facing' faces were not getting milled properly. Looks like this:

I let it complete and removed the stock, with a plan to sand the resulting piece to remove the tool marks which remained,
but I wonderd if it would have been somehow possible to select JUST those faces and perform another finishing pass on them after re-adjusting the cutting tool. I tried and couldn't figure out how to do it.

This would be really helpful to know. thanks for any input.
