Indefinite hanging/crash while selecting geometry in 2D Adaptive

So this started happening right before today's update. My problem occurs when I try to select some form of geometry for the 2D Adaptive tool path while having a sketch open. When I try to select the contour Fusion just hangs up and forces me to quit the application. It seems to work fine when there are no visible sketches, and I can select the sketch I want to use for the containment boundary in the design tree, however the contour fusion comes up with does not entirely match what my sketch is. I'm not sure why this is happening but I've been trying to get this tool path all day, and I can't submit a crash report since it doesn't prompt me with anything after it quits.

If you can, attach the file to this thread so the the developers can try to reproduce what is happening. File>Export>*.f3d and attach to thread.

I've attached an f3d file containing the bug.

Not a crash but it does hang, @seth.madore .

Update:

Just tried to work on that tool path after the latest update. I'm still having the same issue for some reason. Could it be a corrupted f3d file perhaps? Or does that even happen with cloud based data?

Another update:

Still having the same issue. I think I've narrowed it down to some mesh bodies within my original design. Everything works as it should when I remove those features from the design. I really don't know how those bodies are related to my problem, but maybe this will help if anyone is still trying to debug this.

Thanks for sharing the model.

It would be nice to see a video of the problem happening, so we can see exactly what you're doing. Any chance you could make one?

Thanks for the assistance.

Jeff

Thanks for the video. I can see this problem here, too. Apparently there is a problem with the sketch (in blue).

Can you tell me how that was created? Did you create it natively in Fusion, or was this imported?

Thanks,

  Jeff

No problem Jeff. The sketch was done natively by creating an offset sketch from a projection of the bottom face of the part model. My stock and fixture models were designed in Fusion, however the part model was designed in Creo I believe.
