Im having issues with cloud tool libraries updating. I wanted to do an line chat with AD tech but the icon is not in my UI anymore, not sure why. Is it still available?

Having an issue and trying to figure out why my tool library is not updating.

1st off I have a work account and a personal account. The account I'm trying to get figured out is the personal account. I need access to this tool library on 3 different computers and have been trying to get this working for weeks now and NONE of the computers update or have access to the library. SO last night I got tired of messing with it and decided to just export and import the library from my main workstation to my CNC computer. BUT now Im afraid since they are not updating that this is just going to create even more of a mess to try and manage it because I will then be dealing with separate tool libraries on each machine. AND I'm not done defining all my tools yet and need to be able to make changes and additions on all 3 computers. And this is the EXACT reason you guys created cloud libraries, RIGHT to avoid all this work trying to manage multiple computers that need to share the same data. This is really frustrating.

I have turned on enable cloud libraries on all 3 computers and make sure I am using the correct (same) account when logged into each computer, BUT NO GO. The entire library is NOT available on comp 2 & 3.

The computes are
Main workstation home office
CNC computer home shop
Work Computer day job office

I've created my master complete tool library on the main computer (Main workstation home office). when going to the other 2 comps I have no access to the library. I do see cloud in the left side pane on all 3 comps but only a couple tools in the comps 2&3 .

WHY is this not working and how do I resolve this? Shouldn't I just be able to click (cloud) on any of the comps and have access to the data?

In addition to the tool library the files I need to share also have the same issue, with team setup. Cant figure out how why that is not working either. Not sure if its related but I need to reso9lve the tool library issue 1st.

Hi -

If you are using the same team (hub) for all 3 computers, and you've enabled the cloud libraries -- which clearly you have -- then the cloud libraries should be available for all of them.

Can you check something: On the computers where you're not seeing what you see in the web view of the Assets project, can you check the local disk, in the directory %localappdata%\autodesk\autodesk fusion 360\<userid>\W.login. Is there an "M" directory? If so, what's in it?

You could try:

1) Shut down Fusion

2) Rename that "M" directory

3) Start Fusion again

And see if things get synched up.

If you go to Windows Explorer, and type in the first part of what I wrote above (before the <userid>), you'll see a directory that's not normally visible. This is where all of Fusion 360's cached files are managed. There will be a "coded" directory (letters/numbers) which represents the files associated with your user id. That's where you should find what I note above.

Here's what this looks like on my machine (yours will have different names):
