idea for material type selection in setup

Currently, when making program in the manufacturing section of Fusion 360, you are required to choose a tool preset in every operation. It would be much faster if you could select a common preset for every tool in the setup. A feature such as this would also reduce the likelihood of the wrong feeds/speeds being selected. This currently requires you to go back to Fusion and change the tool preset for the specific operation. This would cut on time spent changing presets and reduce the likelihood of tool damage (wrong feeds and speeds). This would be of especially great value in a professional production environment.

We are actively exploring Material and how we can leverage it in the MFG environment. I don't have much more to offer at this stage, but just wanted to mention it's being discussed 🙂
