I have a personal license.   I have to manually select WCS 1 instead of WCS 0 (default).  I do

not have the three vertical dots beside the window that lets you set the current value as a user default.

I try hard to keep all of the nc programs with green check marks because this is an easy way to check to quickly check things out and address any issues.

I hope there is a way for me to do this.....(it would be just mean to make me do it manually every time)

Ha, it's not a personal license thing, it was overlooked in the "three dot" overhaul. Commercial users also do not have it.

What I do is to create a Setup with all the settings how I want to see them the majority of the time. Once it's created, right click on the Setup in the Browser and then select "Save as Defaults"

That right click is only for this particular Field, all the other ones are in the "Three dot menu"

and some checkboxes like smoothing can only be set to default by using the method Seth described above or going into compare and edit.
