How to rename a tool

I would like the ability to rename the tools, especially the ones I create. Using the insert type is pretty confusing for me when I am selecting a tool from my library.

I also have tools that are not in your standard descriptions.

How would I do this?

That doesn't actually work. It does tack on the description at the end of what Fusion has used for the tool name. But because of long index names Fusion uses, you cannot even read the descriptions. You cannot change the column size in order to read your description.

That is why I want to change the name itself. The actual name of the tool should not matter to the tool description. I should be able to name them Jill, Wendy or Henry if I want, right. 🙂

I can increase the Name column width, but the slider is invisible. Are you on Windows or a Mac?

That works it's hard to find for a start it's just beside the first letter of the columns name

It won't always set the description to the name though. Some will, so won't.
