HOW TO REDUCE SPEED AT CORNERS WHEN CHANGING DIRECTION MACH 3 ?

HELLO.

FUSION 360 IS WORKING SUPER FOR ME AND MY MASHINES
I AM USING MACH 3 PROGRAM .

BUT I DO HAVE ONE PROBLEM THAT I CAN NOT SOLVE .
AND THAT IS: HOW TO REDUCE FEEDRATE WHEN MASHINE CHANGES DIRECTION WHEN MASHINING .

IT WOULD BE VERY USEFUL FOR ME TO USE SUCH OPTION BECAUSE MASHINING WOULD BE MUCH SMOOTHER .

I TRIED FEED OPTIMIZATION AND IT ACUALY WORKED BUT ONLY AT SUCH CORNERS . WHENEVER THERE WAS ANY CURVE ALL FEEDS GOT MIXED UP BETWEN CUTTING FEEDRATE AND REDUCED FEED IN FEED OPTIMIZATION .

This might actually be easier to accomplish on the Mach 3 side of things with your accel and decel settings. Of course, I'll differ to the man from down under @daniel_lyall and see what he has to say, being the resident Mach3 guru

i tried changing the acceleration in mach 3 and it worked 😄

One thing you can do what works very well is turn on Feed optimization, most times when you are doing 2D cutting it's not needed, when you do 2.5D/3D cutting it makes mach3 do a better job of going around corners.

I set it to 75 degrees at a feed rate that I know the machine is within 0.001 mm +/- 0.001mm at 1000 2.5D/3D movies, the problem with corner rounding in Mach3 it shows up at 90 to 180 degrees turns in 2.5D/3D cutting, 2D most times it's fine as it's 2 Axis moving at one time, the 2.5D/3D corning can be 3 Axises at the same time moving.

it's all down to the trajectory engine in Mach3.
