How To Display Wire Frame in Simulation Mode

How may I achieve this type of view while doing a simulation in the Manufacturing Environment?  Setting Opacity to zero in the Design Environment does not achieve this appearance in the Manufacturing Environment.

Also, what would this be called so that I could search for this in the product documentation? Or, could you provide a link to the product documentation for this?

You only have 3 settings while simulating. You don't have any control over the opacity of the stock model though, transparency in just on\off.

Both your screen shot and mine are showing the model as somewhat greenish. But the video that I captured is totally clear. Is that because the video was made using an older version of F360? Is there any way that I could remove the color?

Hmmm, you might get a little closer to having it clearer by using the "Colorization" and "Material" options, pretty limited choice but it helps a little, see image below.

@Inspections_JCH  Can you give us the link to the video you got the screengrab from? Are you sure they didn't just have the Stock option unchecked so it doesn't show at all?

This link is to a time stamp where I saw the image, but everything before it sorta flew by so fast that I am unsure how he arrived at this. https://youtu.be/Do_C_NLH5sw?t=505

He's not running a simulation at that point. You can see there's no play buttons at the bottom of the screen. The toolpaths are showing because the op is selected in the browser, display is set to wire frame from the bottom toolbar.

Later in the video he does run the simulation and the stock is visible.

One other thought, have you got display in process stock enabled so you see the stock all the time?

Yes, I see now what you describe. I am getting closer, and still I am unable to get a fully formed wire frame. The close visible lines seem to be white or are hidden for some reason, as are the hidden lines.

Not sure how you are getting what you show, which Wireframe option are you using ?

All I can do is show you via a short Screencast how I get what is in the image below, assuming that what is shown is what you are asking for 🙂

I have tried both wireframe options. I believe I have followed everyone's
advice carefully. When I get back to the computer, I will do a screencast
to create a new model and see how that works so we can dissect what steps I
have taken. It may be a few days while I thankfully have outside work
keeping me busy. 🙂

I am now able to view my work as a wire frame. The solution was to start with a new file. I was unable to find any way to make the first file that began this discussion appear as I expected it to.

Once I had a new file, I could not make it fail. So, somehow  the first file was stuck in a state that could not be repaired. In the first file, I even tried to delete everything in the timeline and start with a new sketch but that was a fail as well.Wire Frame From The BeginningWire Frame From The Beginning

Can you export the original file as an f3d and attach here?

OK, I see what the problem is, from the looks of things at sometime during the creation the Opacity of the Model in Design has somehow been restricted to 99%, it is fine up to that point but as soon as I try to use 100% it goes bad, so it is something at your installation somewhere.

Here is an image of your file in Manufacture Simulation with an Opacity set in Design at 99%, working fine 🙂 🙂

No idea why it would do that but at least you will have an idea of how to correct it in the future.

Apologies but that`s all I have for you 😞

This is one to pass up via the Support Forum to the Developers I reckon 🙂
