How to Cut this Ramp

Trying different tool paths to get the tool to follow this ramp down or up using contact point to insure a consistent finish/engagement. Haven't found one that will clean the whole surface after adaptive cut all of the steps. So far, the best tools paths for this have been Parallel and morphed spiral surprisingly. Let me know if anyone can figure out how to do this successfully.

I assume you're working with a 3 axis machine?

Try blend.

If you're not aware of the blend toolpath, you must enable it from preview features in preferences.

Yes, it is a 3-axis machine and that is why I couldn't find it, but I'll turn it on and give it a go. 👍

Got the blend feature now but were trying to use a shell cutter to move down this ramp. But it says the tools is invalid, any way around this besides tricking fusion by modeling a large endmill?

Fusion tends to be a litle "picky", want to use a "Face" mill ? then you need to be doing a Facing job, want to do a hole? then it needs to be a Drill 🙂

So, the answer is yes, a little trickery is required, a big end mill should do the job 🙂

Personally I would be trying to use one with a Rad, Bull Nose would be my preference 🙂 🙂

I agree but they want to try a shell mill with radius on the inserts to get the job done. We'll see how to comes out 😬

Thanks for the help the Blend should be able to get it done.
