I am trying to change this vertical plunge cut to a ramp style cut. The operation is a 2D Contour cutting the outside dimension of the part leaving tabs for support. I am using a 1/4" flat mill and when it plunges without any horizontal movement the bit/spindle head visibly flexes. This causes the bit to flex onto the part when plunging for the tabs. I would like to have it "ramp' into the cut along the cut direction.
