How can I bring manufacturing model to update correct all in it?

When I work with a production model in CAM, and I really like working with production models, I have the following problem:

- I create a production model
- Copy the part to be manufactured in this production model
- insert it as a ‘new model

If I now change something in the model in the design and go back to production, the copy in the production model is not updated.

How can I copy something in the production model so that it is also updated?

Here is a short video to illustrate this better:

I see that you're "Paste as New". This will create an unlinked component that is identical to the source, but no longer have a link to said source. You should "Paste", give that a try and report back 🙂

If I were to simply copy and paste it, the copy as a blank would be nonsensical!

Because if, for example, I were to remove the chamfers from the blank, as in this case, the chamfers would also be removed from the original part in the production model.
So a copy is of no use to me!

I had assumed that since the production model has its own timeline, this timeline would also be executed separately, including the copying.

This would not be a solution, it should simply ‘only’ adapt automatically when I change the design!

Here another sample with holes that I remove...
