Hey everybody,

Hoping somebody else out there has figured this one out already and can help out...

In a collaboration between the folks at autodesk, myself, and my CNC tech, we have been working to modify the Doosan 3/5 axis VMC (Fanuc) post that is included in the post library.

We are pretty close to having it dialed in, but still are having occasional issues that pop-up.

Currently, the issues are with the onclose section. I'm somehow getting an output for the C axis that is outside of the machine's limits (which we set in the onopen section).

Wondering if anybody else has gone down this path already and could save me some headache by sharing their post with me?

Here is a link to the test project that I've been working off of: https://a360.co/3gQw2gY

Thanks!!!

When you say you were working with the folks at Autodesk, do you mean the Post Development team? Were they not able to sort you out?

Phil Brown has been helping me out, and has been doing an awesome job. There has been quite a bit of trial-and-error involved though, and I was hoping that there may have been somebody else out there who has gone down this path already.

The upside is that once we have this sorted out, it may make somebody's life easier in the future (I'd be happy to share the post we end up with).

Hi Seth-

We still don't have this issue sorted out. Seems that Phil Brown is no longer with the company. Would you be able to connect me with somebody who may be able to help?

Thanks,

Billy
