Help with Machining Strategy

I have completed one possible machining work flow, but I have my doubts as to whether the holding is going to be strong enough.

I would like some input....probably a whole new strategy I haven't thought of???

There is only one "squared up end" to grab so I machine that first then place it in a jig.

But the piece looks like it will vibrate pretty good under the tool?

I could square up the design....but that would be uncool and this piece is a lever you use every time you step into the binding so cool is good.

Set ups: Release lever end; Release lever top; Release lever side.

Im assuming this is wood or something made on a homemade cnc? Just run op 2 and use tabs along hte part profile. Op 3 can just be surfaced on instead and reduces a setup and potential issue. Not sure how much extra stock you have to hold onto.

aluminium held .01 mm on the end carve. hafta go slow.  home built frame with sliders and ball screws....water cooled spindle...electric reused sainsmart.

Think I will use a jig (vice not great).  Trying to minimize machining and stock.

Tabs to to stabilize curvy end.

Yeah and will eliminate one set-up figured that out last night.

In the end hope to go to 3d printer for this part with nylon.

Thanks very much that really helps
