Help with Fusion 360 Invalid tool angle CAM.

Hello, I'm a really new user to Fusion 360 and I've trying to do a manufacture simulation for this piece using turning.

For some reason I can't do the inner part of the piece (not the holes but the groove), I've tried changing tools, angles, selecting inside profiling or inside grooving, but I just can't.

Any tips?

Hope this works for you as a path towards a solutionto your problem, you did say "the groove" so I looked at it as a groove and used the Groove toolpath, in the attached example I use 1mm stepovers and stepdowns just to keep the Screencast shorted, what is shown can be easily adjusted, I am not going to type all the setting so please be patient and work your way through my settings and see if you can replicate them in your own file, anyway, Screencast below and a modified version of your file is attached for you to read through 🙂 🙂 🙂

Now that I see the way you did it, it's quite obvious exactly with that word "groove" I think my lack of experience was the problem at the moment to select the right tool and maybe the right orientation. I'll keep learning and improving.

Thank you Rob for all your help.

Regards,

Isra
