Use a drill cycle and select "Tapping" under cycle type. When you come to post process your code it should output G84 assuming your post is set up correctly.

That picture has not worked. In order to help if you can let us know your post processor and the Fusion file too just to check all the settings are correct.

Ah I now understand. It is outputting G95 instead of G84 because you have the "Live Tool" selected in your tool library for the tap.

I assume you have a static tap holder and the spindle will be rotating when you tap. For this you need to uncheck the
"Live tool" box in the tool. See screenshot below then it will output a G84 instead of G95.

G95 does this - G95 Live Tooling Rigid Tap (Face) (Group 09) (haascnc.com)

Hi, thank you for checking,
I do not see the G95 in my post, and I am doing this with a live tooling because I have off centre holes that need tapping?

In the file you shared above of the code it uses G95. I don't have a Haas lathe so I'm not entirely sure what you need to do but I think G84 is for when the tool is static and G95 is for live tooling? I'm sorry I can't be of more help.
