Hi, everyone.

I need help modifying the default G54.1 P48 in the Fanuc generic post processor to G54. I'm not sure it's doable, but it's worth reaching out for an answer on this one.

Separately, does anyone know how to alter the horizontal lead-in to default to zero?

The Fanuc generic post will not output G54.1 unless you put value of 7 and more for your WSC in your setup.
Are you sure that you are using the generic one?

If you want to have zero as your default value for lead in radius in some operation, you need to right click on that op. and choose compare and edit, then search for horizontal lead in radius, change it to 0 and right click on it then choose make all default.

I would bet that he is using 54 for his work offset when it really needs to be 1.

 

@Anonymous: In HSM/Fusion CAM workflow the work coordinate system is not tied to the actual number. So in your case your first work offset is G54, so you would want to use 1 (leaving it set to zero will also cause the post to default to the first offset). Anything over 7 for the Fanuc post will utilize extended work offsets, so 7 would be G54.1 P1. When you input 54 for the WCS you'll get G54.1 P48 (54-6=48). Hopefully this makes sense now.
