Fusion turn Groove suppression does not work

Hi all!

I have created an exercise part for turning. Nothing wild!
When I try to use groove suppression, Fusion calculates forever and stays at 0%

I know how to get round the problem, set the rear boundary differently or 100 other possibilities. But I'm interested in why it doesn't work, what am I doing wrong?

I tip on a E70 Error, but I can't find it!

Hello

If you only select one face of the groove, it works, but I myself have too little experience in turning to explain the relationships.

That's funny!
That's exactly what I tried!

I've just tried it again and it doesn't work for me!

@marcus.toepke- Just for your FYI when I generated the tool path at my end it calculated fine using the parameters you specified.

@marcus.toepke I cannot replicate this issue in the latest update of Fusion that recently went out. Could you check again, after updating your Fusion?

OK I have used the repair function.
After that NOTHING it don't worked.

Then I copied the sketch and build the solid to manufacture new.

Now it works but I must select the full groove.

Then I build a Very simple model with two groves

If I select only the buttom of the groove:

If I select the full groove:

I have also been having a lot of problems with this. It used to work then it didn't and hasn't for some time now(months). I have installed all of the updates in normal Fusion and the Insider and it still doesn't work.

@marcus.toepke I'm not sure I understand the issue. Yes, you have to select the walls and the floor of the groove for Fusion to recognize the groove. This is by design.

@kuhnjst Could you attach a sample file that used to work with groove suppression enabled and now doesn't?

I never had a file that did, then didn't, work. I had 1 file that did. The 1st time I used groove suppression it worked (no longer have that file. IT was when I 1st installed Fusion So just over a year ago.) Then any time after that, when I tried to use groove suppression, it didn't work.
