Fusion rounding my stock to leave to nearest thousandth????

Is anyone else having this problem? It seems fusion is rounding any of the numerical fields to the nearest thousandth.

If I punch in 0.0004", hit OK, then reopen the tool path it's at zero. 

if I punch in 0.0005", hit OK, then reopen the tool path it's at 0.001"

It's with any numerical field in the tool path too, if I try to add a start/end extension to a open chain 2D contour it rounds it as well.

I tried inputting scientific notation too and that still gets rounded.

I've tried to use the tool wear comp in the tool path and that just gets rounded.

The only way I can get around this is to modify my model.

I've even opened up an old program and it rounds off my values in those too where I used to be able to input values less than a thousandth.

Did I somehow change a setting or was this with one of the last updates? 

This is a detrimental change as I just scrapped one of my parts thinking I was taking off 0.0005" but was really taking off 0.001"

It isn't actually rounding the values, it just the display that is rounding

I wish that were the case. However it's not just displaying them, it changes after I hit OK. 

I enter 0.0005"

The text field displays 0.0005" even after clicking off the text field

I hit OK

I go back into the tool path

the stock to leave is now 0.001"

Hi

I know it looks like its rounding that actual value but it isn't.

You just need to set the general precision to 4DP in the settings.

You can prove that the value is actually correct by clicking on the "Three dot" menu and selecting edit expression to see the value Fusion is actually using.

phew ok, thanks. Turns out I just scrapped my part and not fusion haha. You were right, I was wrong.

Any idea how this setting changed? Is there a hotkey I bumped? Maybe a recent update as it wasn't doing this yesterday and I've never changed those settings before.

there was definitely an update to the number of trailing zeros etc. in the latest update but I don't think it should have affected the number of Decimal places, maybe it did
